What does it mean for an addict to take “one day at a time”?

The concept of “one day at a time” is a wonderful concept. It comes out of the 12-step approach. It is nothing more than being concerned with primarily what’s happening today, not projecting to the future, tomorrow, the next day, what will happen when I go to that party next month, or something like that. It’s about living life today, realizing, taking on today as the task, not taking on tomorrow or future events. For more information visit www.aaalternatives.com
