What does a primary residence consist of?

I am going throgh a bitter divorce. My soon to be ex and I have been seperated for 3 yrs due to his drug abuse. He spends every night at his girlfriends house who he met, and were both kicked out of, rehab. The State has taken her children away. He also has another residence, but only goes there to pick up mail. In court documents, for my daughters sake, does he have to list both residences? How is that determined?

Primary residence is that location where you live the most out of a year. In 365 days, if you spend only 40 living in this other location, then you need to list the place where you live 325 days out of the year.
