So just wondering what the likely hood of someone i know getting jail time. She goes to court tomorrow.She was arrested for crack-cocaine, crack-cocaine objects & xanax i believe. Not sure how much of each. But she said that her public defender told her she would either get 21 years in jail or 10-15 years probation. This is her first offense but still for a public defender to say that it sounds pretty serious. By the way I do not like what she has done or become at all. So what do you guys think she will get.Also I am pretty sure she is still doing drugs, will they give her a drug test tomorrow at court? You can tell by looking at her she does drugs and doesn’t care about herself. She even provides drugs to her own son, as you may tell I do not like this person at all…

If this person is charged in federal court versus state court then the penalty would be more harsh the quanity is important in determining a sentence and the state where the arrest occurred is the determining factor, in federal court the penalty you mentioned is possible but depending on the state for a first offense it will probably be probation, community service and drug rehab.~~
