What do I do to support my fiance when he gets out of rehab?

My fiance is bi-polar and has drug addiction problems. After 2 years of dealing with this it has come to an ending of our relationship. He has finally gone to detox and is waiting for a room for residential treatment.
Does any one know how I am supposed to handle this or have any websites or books I can refer to, to offer him the best support I can?
