Question by James C: What can you do for your troubled sibling after 8 times in rehab?
She’s been to rehab 8 times, mostly for drug abuse, but also for eating disorders.

She’s been the cause of my father’s financial ruin because he paid out-of-pocket for what insurance did not cover.

She just called and she’s headed back home. She says she’s bulimic again.

What do we do at this point?

I have so much frustation/anger at this point as to what she had put our family thru.

I also think my father is part of the problem. He’s her enabler to a certain extent. I don’t think he employs “tough love” enough. I think his age comes into play here also: He’s 62 and is alot softer than he was at 42. He shouldn’t have to be so much of a “father” at this point in his life.

My sister is age 29.
