Salvia is becoming more illegal every day and I really wish this would stop. I find it funny how they want to ban it because some kid allegedly killed himself because of it and also the unknown yet potentional ” long term effects” . First of all, that kid must have been hella depressed before he used salvia and besides , what’s that compared to the many addicts who have used psychedelics and are now clean and sober? And what about all the suicides while of prescription drugs?! When are those gonna be illegal, eh?!
Second of all, I hate when doctors who have no clue what their talking about say that it could have long term effects when nothing has even been proven yet. You want long term effects doc,?! Smoke a pack of camels every day and well see how you are in 20 years god dam it! And are those gonna be illegal any time soon? Don’t think so! Oh and don’t even get me started on all the god dam alcoholics we have , all the people being abused because of it.
I havnt used salvia yet but I’d really like to in the future( I’m 15 right now) and I’m just afraid that it’s going to become illegal in all state soon, and because if you do se it, you don’t use it very often at all. This will create a small demand for the drug so it will be harder to find a dealer who sells. How can we keep this sacred herb legal!?!?

Well the reason that would make it illegal is if there were NUMEROUS reports of deaths, attacks, or any dangerous activity while under the influence of Salvia. Thats what makes drugs illegal. If they impair you to the point where you can be violent. Yes alcohol can make others violent, but most alcoholics dont kill beyond their control after they drink. And other drugs can cause that… I can give examples.
And the reason it would be kept legal is if medical uses could be found for it. As of now there is no medical uses for salvia. So its just like…. there.. nothing has proved it good or bad. Its just there.
Cigarettes are legal because greedy fucks in our country wanna tax them and they make BANK. And also, they dont do any damage in short term (in refrence to the “violent behavior”)
I do however take your side… i think salvia is great. I like weed better, but salvia is good.. im not a druggie, but its a good experience if its used right.
But the pussy ass people in this country, (people who try to sue Grand Theft Auto, people who sue Mcdonalds cuz theyre fat, etc.) Those people worry about these issues TOO much. They needa stop worrying bout kids tripping on salvia (cuz frankly, it isnt bad. Maybe it can frighten them, but no real harm) and start worrying about real issues.
But the reality is… they can afford good representatives, so they can probably win this battle and make salvia illegal.
My advice to you kid, is get your hands on salvia as fast as you can. Cuz your right… pretty soon itll be hard to get..
