here are mine:
Master of Puppets – Metallica
Dirt – Alice in Chains
Junkhead – Alice in Chains
Bottom – Tool
That Smell – Lynyrd Skynyrd

“Ball and Chain” by Social Distortion. My favorite by a long shot, because it painfully describes the love-hate relationship of addiction.

Edit: Good call on “Needle”, Ann. Definitely my favorite “third person” account of addiction.
