Question by JessB: What are the stories behind the mutated zombies in the video game Left for Dead?
I heard that theres stories behind the mutated zombies in left for dead. The mutated zombies are, The Witch, The Hunter, The Smoker, The Tank, and The Boomer. I heard that they all have stories behind them. For example: The Smoker is the way he is because before he became a zombie, when he was human, he was a chain smoker. So i was just wondering what all the stories were behind them. another example was The Hunter, I heard he is the way he is because when he was human, he was a meth addict. But I dont know all the stories. Please let me know. Im really curious and cant find it anywhere!

I know what you’re talking about… I can’t remember where I got these, and if they’re accurate, but this is what I remember…
Smoker: a person who chain-smoked, and the infection mutated with the smoke.
The Hunter: A person who did heavy drugs, and the infection mutated with the content of the drugs.
The Tank: A body-builder or person who needed steroids for medical uses, and the infection mutated with the chemicals.
The Boomer: A fat, heavily obese person.
The Witch: A woman suffering from depression.
