Long term, this narcotic can cause and almost always causes addiction. It can also cause depression, constipation, lethargy, myoclonis, cognitive and psychomotor impairment, low blood pressure and possibly sleep apnea.
It may cause kidney and or liver impairment with long term use also.
Side effects really are toxic reactions and should be identified as such. Toxic reactions mean that your body is becoming poisoned into abnormal function.
There is also the possibility of allergic reactions that include rash, hives, itching, motor impairment, diaphoresis, lethargy, convulsions, anaphaylaxis, shock and death.
