what are the long term effects for smoking crystal meth?

a relative of mine i just learned when she was in her 20’s ran away from home, went to california, and lived homeless while smoking meth. Her mom knew she went there and it was during a time where people were killing off homeless people all around the state and she was so scared to death for her daughter so she flew to where she thought she lived and found her in an alley way. she went to rehab and all that and never did it again, but she was smoking meth probably on/off for 6 months. ive known her all my life and was So Surprised i couldnt believe it. shes now 47 years old by the way and my mom just told me today about it. i just want to know if she has bad health for the future? she recently divorced, moved away, lost contact with family, and married a really creepy guy. she has kids and i was best friends with them and i never see them 🙁 do you think her using meth accounted for her doing such a dramatic thing?
