Westpac employee spared jail after theft
An Australian bank employee who helped a friend steal A$ 115,500 ($ 150,000) from customers’ accounts at Westpac has escaped jail and been ordered to serve a new community-based sentence brought in by the New South Wales state government to replace periodic detention.
