Wanting to work with teenagers, college major question?

I’m 23, and a teen leader at our church as well as substitute teach high school kids , volunteer at an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center on Sundays, and am very involved in the community. I see the need to help teenagers and try to be a good example. I enjoy teaching at church and substituting but can’t see myself teaching right now (maybe when I’m older), I am thinking about being a juvenile probation officer or working in a half-way house or rehabilitation center. I really don’t know what else I can do. I enjoy people and enjoy helping. I’ve considered counseling and other things. I’m considering a sociology degree with an english minor (so I can teach english if I ever want to). I just need someone to bounce some advice off of me and help me. I have lost a lot of acquantices due to drugs and alcohol and had a lot of things happen to me as a teenager so I can relate. I don’t go in as their friend but as someone who can be there and be responsible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
