Timothy Norris
Timothy Norris established a good life, going to Bible college, getting married and building a family, and even became a pastor of a church. One day, he suffered a bad knee injury that led into an addiction to pain killers and alcohol. He eventually lost his marriage, his family, his church, his life. He began to use methamphetamines, which led to a suicide attempt through overdose. Surviving the ordeal, God led Timothy’s life to CityTeam in Portland, where he recovered from his alcoholism and drug addiction. Timothy graduated from the recovery program and is now Volunteer Case Manager and Assistant Shelter Coordinator for CityTeam in Portland.
