This short video and song is for my English Literature (: it is about Victory Barnes, her feelings towards her mother, who was a heroin addict and was just released from jail. The song is abit slightly happy with a sad tone, which explains Victory’s confused and mixed emotions. This story is from the book, Waiting for Her by Amina Henry.
