The Impact of Your Choice -Teen Dating Violence PSA

Megastar Director, Deborah Hoch, spoke with high school health curriculum directors, counselors, and police professionals to determine some of the greatest issues facing our youth today. Our next project will be an addition to the Youth Issues Series with the working title: “The Impact of Your Choice-Teen Dating Violence.” This documentary will include interviews with Victim’s Advocates, Community Outreach and Violence Prevention Specialists, counselors, Program Directors that are on the front line for teaching healthy relationship skills, adult and youth victims, and parents of victims. As with the Underage Drinking and Reckless Driving film, it is believed that the peer-to-peer delivery style of this documentary will be effective with the target audience, making this film ideal for use in community-based and school settings. Teens will be empowered by example to recognize the signs of abuse and take action against it. Parents and other adults will also gain an understanding of the signs of teen domestic abuse and the steps they can take to help keep their young people safe.
