The GET – Ground Effect Transport – Ekronoplane

The key Ekronoplane technology was developed in the Soviet Union primarily for military applications. There have been many military, commercial and consumer variants of the design from huge transports to the current Tekseed llc autonomous VTRIX sensor platform project. Smaller Ekronoplanes are classified as watercraft, not aircraft, so no pilot’s license or training is required for operation.
