Question by Shelby: The effects of methamphetamine?
I know that one of the major effects of Meth is death. a person I know is in a coma due to it. But what is formaldehyde used for in all this? I heard thats what put him in the coma.
Does this affect asthma?

Methamphetamine is a chemical compound. A pure or pharmacological sample of methamphetamine would not contain any formaldehyde.

Methamphetamine is not a by-product of the synthesis.
