“SYITS 12”, Airport Courthouse, Los Angeles, June 15, 2010

Here members of the “SYITS 12” (See You in the Streets 12) and some of their supporters gather in front of the Airport Courthose in Los Angeles after a hearing earlier in the morning. In a legal move seemingly designed to harass the defendants, the DA transferred the case to downtown Los Angeles. The SYITS 12 were lawfully demonstrating in the neighborhood of UCLA vivisector Edythe London when they were summarily arrested by UCLA police. The UCLA police, despite lacking the legal sufficiency to do so, confiscated the video tapes of an impartial legal observer. There is some concern the UCLA police, given their background of reckess behavior in these matters, will erase or alter the tapes. Edythe London, the principle target of the demonstration, has been accused of “sadistic procedures addicting non-human primates to methamphetamines” and has admitted to addicting baby lambs to cocaine
