In my English class at Central Arizona College I am writing a paper on substance abuse counselor training. I would like to ask you four brief questions. and have permishion to use your answers, and qualifications
What are your thoughts on multicultural training standards? Are they being implemented appropriately into substance abuse counselor training?
Why alcohol and drug addiction is usually considered a crime instead of a treatable disorder?
Becoming a Certified Addiction Counselor in Arizona requires 2 years (4000 hours) working with substance abuse client’s and180 clocked hours of education (90 hours in alcohol/drug studies). Why is so little ethics training not required?

im the assistant head of psychology at USC keck med school and u have permission to use my answers
i think multicultural training standards are a revolutionary process towards a better treatment plan
in the majority of cases, it is being implimented correctly
In my world, addiction is more a treatable disorder than a crime. People probably consider it a crime because they do not know the psychology and the biologically wiring of the individuals who are addicts.
And i don’t understand ur last question
