Stereo Dancer – Absolute Reason [Edit]

Warm sparks from the generator. A one off rare 12″ release by Stereo Dancer (AKA DJ Anthony & Thierry Mangin) ‘Absolute Reason’ on the French Label – Weaked Records [WK 001]. 1998. The original recording quality is about as good as it could be for YT, sadly, but hey-ho, it’s still a gem ;)) For me, this track brings back happy memories of the summer of 1999, outdoors at 4 am below a rock face in the middle of nowhere totally tripped out, hallucinating under the moon with a group of friends dancing around a small fire with this track blasting out LOUD from our ghetto blaster. It was magical, until suddenly the moment was interrupted when a gang of drunken idiots appeared from nowhere demanding to know what was happening and why we were enjoying ourselves. Dontcha just love having to try explaining yourself to people who have zero appreciation of music or the great outdoors when you are on another plane entirely and you have absolutely nothing in common – WHATSOEVER? NO, neither did we….and thanks to Jeff and his ‘don’t even think about trying to invade our party’ glare and a few choice words, they walked away into the dark. Result!! An unforgettable party and track. This one’s for you Jeff. Cheers mucker ;))) ( For the record…the landowner didn’t take kindly to us partying there either and moved us on at noon the following day. Jeez, some folk huh!! }
