Spring-Ford School District invites parents to presentation on teens and drugs
ROYERSFORD – Spring-Ford Area School District parents are invited to attend a poignant presentation from an area parent and educator who lost his own son to drug addiction from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, in the auditorium of Spring-Ford’s 10-12 Center, 350 S. Lewis Road in Royersford.

Germantown teen lives horror of drug use
Lea Edgecomb, 17, of Germantown, became paralyzed after overdosing on heroin in 2009, the only time she tried the drug. Pictured with her mother, Lisa Essich, Lea hopes that by sharing her story she will discourage other teens from trying the drug.
