S’porean carried 4,000 pills
A SINGAPOREAN man attempted suicide after he was arrested by Thai officials at a border checkpoint with more than 4,000 ecstasy pills, MCOT news reported on Tuesday. Ang Beng Bee, 46, was caught with the pills and other illicit drugs, worth about US$ 113,800 (S$ 152,200), in the Sadao district near the Thai-Malaysian border.
