Someone please tell me horrible facts about texting, so I can break my addiction.?

I text people way tooo much.
If they reply, I’ll talk their head off.
If they don’t reply, I’ll send another one talking my head off.
It’s horrible, and I hate being annoying like this.
No matter how hard I try, I still do it.
and I don’t realize I do it, until after I do it.

Please help and tell me bad things about texting.
Or tricks to stop.
Advice.
Something.

and I’m sorry if this is the wrong category, it’s what Y!A suggested… and I’m a bit lazy to look for another.
Oddly, I write in full sentences with proper grammar and punctuation (for the most part).

And people, don’t be afraid to be mean! State the facts, keep them coming.
