I am recently divorced single mother of a toddler and a teenager. My ex is supposed to be paying me child support but never goes to work cuz of his long-time meth addiction. I live in Gillette, WY and have been applying for just about every job I can but have been unsuccessful thus far partly cuz of a DUI I got about a year ago and alot of the available jobs here require a good driving record. I am staying with a friend but it’s crowded and I can’t expect her & her husband to support me and my kids. Is there any temporary help for single mothers? For housing, food etc? Thanks so much!
To those of you who critisized me for my DUI, when I got it I was just leaving work in which I am a bartender, someone bought me a shot right before I left so I was NOT drunk the alcohol was just fresh on my breath. I passed the road side tests with flying colors and took a breathalizer. It put me over the legal limit cuz I had just taken the shot. I was honest with the officer & told him I just had a shot he appologized to me & didn’t want to ticket me cuz he knew I wasnt drunk but cuz of the breathalizer he had to. I do not encourage people to drink & drive especially being a bartender and I have often given people a ride home after work. I too have had many friends killed by drunk drivers so before you critisize me and wish me to be in jail GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

Your right, I am wrong, I did not drive druck; exp. since I have children, Your right I wasn’t married to a meth head. Your right this woman has her crap together, you got me.
