Look at the statistics, women who hit their husbands completly get off or are punished waay less than if a man did it. And in court, if a wife kills a husband, she gets off 13% of the time, citing self defense, and do you know how much a man gets off? 1.4%!!

Also, they only get 6 years average for killing husbands, while husbands get 17%! Everytime a woman goes to court, all she has to say is “I was abused” and poof, she gets a light sentence or off all together.

So is this not proof that American system should be like the East since women are getting away with murder, literally.

I do not believe in forcing our cultural norms onto other societies – and I do agree with you that the US needs to get over its stupid self and just deal with the fact that other countries are (gasp!) FOREIGN and have different ways of doing things. But, I do not believe that women “abuse” their western rights, and I don’t see how you can prove such a thing by telling us that women have to commit murder in order to avoid being beaten.
