Should tobacco be a controlled substance based on the following statement made by tobacco Giant Philip Morris?

Question by VeeBee: Should tobacco be a controlled substance based on the following statement made by tobacco Giant Philip Morris?
“Philip Morris USA agrees with the overwhelming medical and scientific consensus that cigarette smoking is addictive. It can be very difficult to quit smoking, but this should not deter smokers who want to quit from trying to do so. Our support of a consistent public health message.
We support a single, consistent public health message on the role of cigarette smoking in the development of disease in smokers, and on smoking and addiction.”

of course it should be . nasty smokers stand outside buildings and i have to walk by smelling the burning of the cigs. worst is they come back inside and smell worst than they did outside. the company’s count on you getting addicted that’s why they are so rich and can influence politician’s with lots of money. i live in virginia very close to the plant where most of the cigs are made they open the factorys in very poor sides of town so they dont have to pay people much money. i say get rid of them all …

Yes!!!!! After all the addiction can lead to so many health problems for smokers, non-smokers (who breathe it in), and animals (who can get carcinogens accumulated in their fur and lungs).
