Should I leave my meth addict boyfriend/fiance?
Question by valleyfms: Should I leave my meth addict boyfriend/fiance?
My boyfriend of 9 months has a long history of drug use and alcohol use. When we met he said he was clean and would never do that again. In the past he has been to rehab and to prison. He has a great job which allowed me to quit mine and travel with him. When we met I had great credit and no unsecured debt. Now I am overloaded with credit card debt which he helped to accumulate. We kept getting overdrawn at the bank becuase he was taking cash out of the account. I confronted him and he admitted to doing drugs again. Meth to be specific. I am three months pregnant and he was using money we did not have for drugs. I left him but came back hoping he would straighten up and we could get back on track financially. However, we just don’t connect anymore. I am so angry at him for what he did and he can’t understand why I’m not falling all over him with love and affection. Should I stay and try to make this work or leave. He has two grown kids already and he was never there for them.
He hasn’t done drugs for the past few days and swears it won’t happen again.
