Should I be using “Primatene Mist”?

Question by AshleyMarie: Should I be using “Primatene Mist”?
I have had recurring bronchitis for the past four years, and last year the doctor said I “may” have asthma but for insurance purposes he wasn’t going to say for sure.

anywho–this time it’s strange because it’s usually in the fall that it occurs, and this time it’s in the spring. also, i’ve been coughing and such for about a week now (it began with a coldiish/flu thing).

i just bought primatene mist for bronchial asthma since it’s about the only over the counter medication i could find, and i’m wondering if i shouldn’t be taking it since i am not a “certain” case of asthma (athough i highly doubt it could possibly do any harm– my dad is a smoker and has smoked up to 3 packs a day in my house my whole life.)

should i see a doctor or see how this works?

It’s okay that you’re using primatene mist because the only side effect of this medicine is increased energy with a jittery feeling. Epinephrine is the main ingredient in Primatene mist and this is a stimulant that relaxes the bronchial passage. Anyway you should check out the supplements, Mullein lung complex by planetary labs, and Lung Saver, both are ways to defeat asthma and bronchitis in strengthening the lungs naturally.

You should definetly check with a doctor if your symptoms get worse.
