Run (Leona Lewis cover)

Yes, I had to give in and do a cover of one of my favorite songs. This one has profound personal meaning to me and I wanted to do what my fans wanted..and many of you have requested for me to sing a cover. Well, here it is and I hope you like it. At least it can give you an idea of my range and abilities as a vocalist too. Many of my originals don’t have that powerhouse ballad sound that only a song like this has, enabling me to capture some of the techniques I have been blessed with. I thank God and my parents every time I open my mouth to sing cause I wouldn’t be able to hold a note without them. I love you Daddy!! BTW, my daddy got released from the hospital today! So, God really listens to those prayers and the dragonfly was really a good omen for me! He is now in one of the best rehab centers getting stronger so he can then go to a nursing facility that I have already chosen for him based on extensive research and visits. 🙂
