Question by SugarBaby_HardyGurl: Recovery time for a gunshot wound to the abdomen?
I’m writing story where a femal police officer is shot in the abdomen, but no organs are hit. What would her recovery time be? Including hospital stay and time off before returning to work?

Also, I’m planning one her being 7 weeks pregnant at the time. What are the chance of he loosing the baby and what kind of complications would her being pregnant add?

Well where the baby is there is no major organs so it creates a very small areas that could be injured without hurting the baby, it would take, it averages at about 65.7days depending on the depth and if there is shrapnel

*just so you know a police officer are not on duty when they are 7months pregnant*
