Recovered/Recovering Alcoholics: Do you still go to AA meetings?

Question by Aragon Tass: Recovered/Recovering Alcoholics: Do you *still* go to AA meetings?
I’ve been sober now for over 13 years through the help of Alcoholics Anonymous but it has been about 6 years since I’ve been to a meeting. It got the point where I only thought about drinking when I went to an AA meeting so I quit going.
I was just wondering if there were any other weirdos like me out there. Or if you quit going for another reason and are still sober, I’d like to hear about it.
