Really odd/strange thing when I was babysitting the other night…this isn’t about the kids…?

Question by Cheekz: Really odd/strange thing when I was babysitting the other night…this isn’t about the kids…?
So Thursday was the second time that I have babysat for two seven year olds that are the children of one of my sister’s friends. I am 16 and when I arrived at the home, I was greeted by the older step brother (19 years old). This is the first time that I had met him and he was the total punk type. He left and then the mother left to go out with my sister for the night. Everything went well until the older brother came back home. He came in and was polite and everything and asked how it was going with the kids. He gave me this creepy feeling but I just shrugged it off and then he went up stairs to his room. About an hour later, it was the kids’ bed time so I went upstairs with them and had a hard time putting the to bed because they were so rowdy. The older brother came out of his room and helped me (I thought it was strange that I was being paid to baby-sit even when he was there). I thanked him and then went down stairs to do my homework. I noticed that he was following me down the stairs and I got super creeped out again. I went to the dinner table and started my homework and while he was rummaging through the fridge, he started up a conversation. Just small talk about how the kids were behaving etc. Then he sat down at the table next to me and started eating. This really irked me because he was sitting extremely close. All of a sudden he said, “Yea, that’s not a nanny cam up there (he pointed to a little camera above the cabinets)…lie that’s not for you or anything…they put that there for me. Ya know…cuz I’m kind of in an out patient rehab program.” This really didn’t et to me because I know several people who’ve been in that type of situation. Then he went on for about a half hour about how his dad is a d*ck and doesn’t love him and that he’s not good enough for anyone. I really couldn’t do much except for nod my head and agree with everything he said. After a while, he started really making me feel strange. Maybe not uncomfortable but a little weird. He turned to me and was like, “So are you involved with anybody?” I regret telling him no. I wish I would have said, “Yes…and he has roid rage…” but no…my thought process didn’t go that far. He then started flirting with me and got closer and closer. He then asked me for my number and I said that the Mom I was sitting for had it (even though she didn’t) so he could get it from her later if he wanted. He bought it. Then he got up from his chair and walked up behind me while putting both of his hands on my shoulders and said, “I hope I’ll be seeing you around here more.” He said goodnight then went to bed. Now that really made me uncomfortable. Friday during school I couldn’t concentrate on anything because I kept thinking about the night before. Today, my sister decided to tell me the whole story about this guy and why the kids aren’t allowed to be alone with them. I told her that I would babysit one more time and if I was too uncomfortable, then I wouldn’t do it again. I just need some advice because it’s good money and everything but I’m not sure what to do.

you shouldnt babysit, its not worth it if theyre making you feel awkward. he may be lonely and all, but he probably thinks you like him. its not good. please dont go back, there are many babysitting jobs available im sure 🙁
