Readmission letter?

Last year I ran into a meth addiction and I got expelled from school. After intense rehab and some self-examination I am finally clean and I plan to stay clean for the rest of my life. I have to write a letter for readmission into school but I dont know where to start. I have to explain what I have learned and what my plans are. Also why I want to be readmitted. Any tips?

I think you need to just spill your guts out on your paper. Tell what you went through, all of your hardships. Tell what you want to acheive in life, what your goals are. Let them know why you want to go back to school and how you’ve learned to cope with your life. Be real emotional and descriptive.
