I regret moving in together. I put up my poster of Nas in our bathroom and he took it down and put a paper in place of it saying “Jay-Z or move out”. He said it was a joke haha not funny. He has Jay-Z’s whole discography. We try not talking about music but we’re both music journalists and obviously have conflicitng opinions. I say RZA he says GZA I say Ghostface he says Masta. I say meth he says red. He bought tickets to go see the jay-em concert in september and he was rubbing it in my face and I told him he should stop cause I went to a Nas and damien marley concert right here in brooklyn…not even a month ago and he got mad cause I didn’t invite him. Hellloooo he doesn’t like nas so what’s the big deal? And he has this stupid policy that when we’re in his car its a nas-free zone. This isn’t the ether-takeover days and he called me simple minded when I told him recovery wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be this coming from the guy who gave the BP3 a 8.5/10 in a public newspaper…smh. What do you suppose we do? I’m 6 months pregnant and he puts his headphones over my belly whenever he’s listening to Jay cause “he’s not raising a nas fan”.
