Question by My Name: question about the show Intervention?
I don’t have cable so I don’t watch the show, but I have seen one episode. I want to know if they only do interventions for people with addictions, or if they do them for people whose lives are just so out of control that their families have no where else to turn….I visited the show’s website but I still have questions.

I’m thinking about contacting the show for my sister (who is 22), but I don’t think addiction is her biggest problem. I’m not even sure what drugs she’s got problems with. I do know that she drinks too much, and she’s in considerable trouble with the law, and she just continues to be rash and make poor decisions. Her life is spiraling downward with no hope of getting better. She doesn’t listen to anybody who tries to help and just gets herself in more trouble because of it. She also has a 2-year-old daughter who is not living the best and healthiest life she should because of her mom’s behavior. My family does what we can, but it’s not enough and we don’t know how to fix the problems.

I really want to help my sister get her life in order, because ever since she was in high school her life has just been a complete and utter mess and she deserves much better than what she’s got. My mom and I have talked about doing an intervention with her friends and other family, but we don’t really know how to get started, and that’s why I wanted to contact the show.

I just want to know if they help people with various behavioral problems, or if they just do interventions for people with addiction.

Well idk how u would go bout contacting the show it must be on the website. Maybe drinkin is her addiction & if yu think she’s doing drugs then another reason to contact the show. I’m sure they wouldn’t turn u down. Also if the kid is in poor living conditions & isn’t being cared for then take the kid out
