Portugal Proves Drug Decriminalization Works

Portugal’s HIV infection rate and drug use rate have decreased dramatically since the country abolished it’s failed drug war policies and moved toward decriminalizing drugs and prioritizing rehabilitation rather than jail time for users. With decades of similar failed drug policies in the US, Portugal’s success should be imitated and not feared.
