7:36 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of North Church Street reported five loose dogs, a problem that occurs daily. 9:35 a.m. — A caller from Cypress Hill Drive reported a woman hitting mailboxes and knocking one over. The victim declined to press charges.

City drinking water tests positive for bacteria
CADILLAC – Samples taken last month from the city’s drinking water detected the presence of total coliform bacteria. However, this detection shouldn’t be considered a public health threat and is likely the result of a sampling error, according to city officials.
