I recently found a large number of empty sleeping pill packets in my brother’s room. I searched a little more and found an empty laxative packet and in a small plastic bag I found an empty clear pill capsule. I’m pretty sure this is how you make “cheese” but not positive. We have gone through alot with my brother. He has admitted he was on heroine before and went through horrible withdrawals after my parents took away his car keys and made put him on house arrest. He is 20 years old, he woke up one morning to find his friend had ODed on heroine and he still doesn’t get it.. My parents and I are at our wits end. We can’t put him in a straight jacket and force him to go to rehab. We don’t know what to do anymore. My mother and father always accuse him of being on drugs and he denies and denies. I would like someone to affirm my thoughts on what exactly the drug is that he is doing and give me some insight as to what we can do to make sure he doesn’t kill himself.

GO to your parents. This is not something that you can take lighting and sit back and wait to figure out what to do.

I have lost a friend to drug use and over does. It’s not something that you want to go through with your brother. Yeah he might get mad at you, but wouldn’t you rather have him mad at you for a while, rather than dead from drugs?

Go to your parents show them what you have found. Also, there are alot of places for drug rehab, some will even allow the family members to commit the drug user withour their willing to.
Call your local hospital , or have your parents do this, and see which program and location in your area will take your brother even if he isn’t willing. He probaly will be mad at all of you for a bit. But just remember that’s not really your brother being mad at you, it’s what the drugs are doing to him.

Save his life and have him mad for a bit, or ignore this and possibly lose him to drugs.
