Please Help! Can anyone tell me if my off white eyes can be naturally white again!?
Question by Rosemary Salinas: Please Help! Can anyone tell me if my off white eyes can be naturally white again!?
Im 28 years old and i already know that off white eyes may be a sign of jaundice, liver problems, smoking, bad diet, anemia, and alchol abuse. Which i have done them all, but i quit all of those things, i’ve been drinking more water, fruits and veggies sometimes milk. I just need to know which would benefit more and how much should i eat daily. This thing is really bothering me and my confidence level is very low becuz of this. I’ve been to doctors and have had blood checked so its not jaundice or anemia or liver damage, but then again doctors don’t know everything they don’t even care .I have been to a number of doctors and they all tell my what it could and then they just schedule me for blood work and im out of there within 5 mins. and its the same thing with eye doctors. Please someone tell me that this can be reversed. Please only mature answers from people who know what i can do. I have researched this for a while and still nothing has worked for me. CAN THIS BE REVERSED! and there anyone out there that has gone through the same thing and got this fixed or knows someone who has. Thank you and God Bless!

well yes technically all of those are possible. but statistically unlikely. people who have enough liver damage to cause JAUNDICE have all kinds of OTHER health problems. their main complaint is not “off white eyes”, its complaints that are much more serious.
its probably pinguecula, not jaundice:

sometimes Rx topical steroids will make them look better. but it doesnt solve the problem, really, it just makes them “whiter”. vasoconstrictors like visine usually make this WORSE, not better.
surgical excision sometimes works, but that just removes the “bump”, it doesnt usually improve the COLOR.
there’s not a great answer for this
