Plague Rider (Lich) Part 2 – Heroes Of Newerth Guide

At first he seems very straightforward since he’s easy to play but in fact it takes a lot to master him. Lich is basically a support/nuker hero. He excels best in team battles, whether healing allies with astrolabe (mekanism), shielding them with his spell, or destroying the other team with his ulti. Hero Page: www.heroesofnewerth.com His first skill (nova) Deals 50 / 100 / 125 / 175 Magic damage to the target and an additional 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 to all enemies within 200 units. Infected Effects 30% Movement Slow -20 Attack Speed ————————- This is your bread and butter. It’s not good at all for killing creeps because of the small AOE and not great damage. Its power is the 9.3 second cooldown and how it synergies with your third ability to make it completely spammable. If a hero is within range, punish them for it. Make sure to use it and follow up with some hits while they try to escape, otherwise you are wasting the slow. Your second skill adds armor to allies: Cursed Shield Effects 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 Armor ———————- This is a great ability that we get as soon as we maxed out the other spells. It makes your tank much stronger and with a 25 mana cost and 5 second cooldown you can give +12 armor to the whole team before you attack. Make sure once you get it, to keep it up on everyone.
