Personality Disorder? Here’s some symptoms….?

Question by ShannaBee: Personality Disorder? Here’s some symptoms….?
Given a subject along with symptoms, I’m supposed to guess or try and diagnose a mental illness. (help with psychology homework)

She goes through moodswings-from happy, to angry, bitter, jealousy, and has tendencies to harass. She continues to harass her subject and gets consumed by it.

She lies habitually. About everything. When asked if she took her son to the doctor, she’ll say yes and that he has an ear infection. The child would really have allergies and nothing wrong with ears. When asked if she’s seeing someone-she’ll say no even though she has a boyfriend living at home.

She has a history with methamphetamine. She also likes to party and drink alcohol.

She moves men in with her after knowing them only a few weeks. Gets engaged to them but the relationships never last over two years.

She is an emotional abuser. She latches onto her victim (like I said, she gets consumed by harassing others) and makes them feel like eight degrees lower than dirt.

She is narcissistic while looking physically unkempt. She has very pale skin, sores around her mouth (drug abuse?), dull, stringy hair, and she looks plain horrible.

I’ve been thinking about Borderline Personality Disorder. I’ve also thought about Schizophrenia.

Her mother is a clinically diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic with bipolar disorder.

What do you think after reading about this subject? And do you think that mental illnesses are genetically inherited?
Lol, Kristi, I don’t really know-that’s why I was on here for advice! I’m thinking Borderline personality.
Thanks, Cat, I’m going to put down Borderline Personality Disorder on this one.
