Jari Askins walked into the room and met a crowd filled with smiles and outstretched arms for hugs. Spontaneous applause broke out. This wasn’t just an average, typical meeting of Chickasha’s Federation of Democratic Women. In every sense of the word, a favorite hometown girl had stopped by to say hi and have a chat.
