Parole date nears for Santa Cruz County convicted child killer, but no word yet on where he will reside upon release
SANTA CRUZ – Donald Schmidt, the oldest ward of the state, is back in Santa Cruz County Jail for a brief hearing as he prepares to be paroled after spending the past two decades in the juvenile justice system.
