Pain relievers, anti-anxiety drugs, sleep aids top prescribed list
HARTFORD – Data collected by Connecticut’s Prescription Monitoring and Reporting System (CPMRS) is identifying that pain relievers, anti-anxiety drugs and sleep aids top the list of controlled substances prescribed in Connecticut, but more analysis is needed to draw conclusions from the information, Consumer Protection Commissioner Jerry Farrell said today.
