Focus on Community celebrates 30 years of service to Racine County
RACINE – Focus on Community staff and volunteers invite the Racine community to help celebrate 30 years of excellence from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson Building Commons, 555 Main St. Refreshments will be served and a short presentation will begin at 6 p.m. to honor past accomplishments as the organization looks towards the future.

Portland police contract includes random drug testing, but delays testing for steroids
Phoenix Police Cmdr. Kim Humphrey and local physician Dr. Linn Goldberg, OHSU’s head of health promotion and sports medicine, say it’s steroids that police are more likely to abuse, and other police agencies have been able to establish their own standards for steroid testing with local labs.
