Question by Locomotive Breath: One of my aunts has smoked marijuana for over 40 years, owns an art gallery, and does well. So, how . . .?
. . . could she benefit from the State’s offer of jail time if she is caught with marijuana?
Would the jail time improve her life?
Would her switching to “approved” cigarettes improve her health?
How does State intervention figure in as an “enhancement” for my aunt?
She would lose her business (and income).
She has no children, and doesn’t drive, because of a hearing deficit.
Why does my aunt need the State to “help” her with her drug “problem”?
These are questions my neighbor has asked me. I don’t know how to answer them.
