I was wondering how to to get my wife to not try to “help” me straighten my office.

I really wished she would just leave me alone here but did not want to start a fight.

Well I said ” Go make me a sandwich will ya?”
She threw a book at me yelled something about being unappreciative and stomped out.

How should I respond to this verbal abuse?

It was not really physical because the book missed.

I just looked at the book and it was, get this, “The New Oxford Annotated Bible” third edition.
This might lead to a whole new set of problems.
At least it was paperback.
