New Website Showcases Work of Surrealist Oil Painter L.E. Busby, Sr.

Surrealism as an art form is young, having been invented between the two world

wars by André Breton. It has been defined by the work of artists such as Salvador

Dali, Renee Magritte, Max Ernst and Breton himself. While it is one of the more obscure art forms, surrealism is still alive today, showing up in all medias, from painting to sculpture to literature.

Snow Wolf Art (http://www.topcities.com/Arts/snowwolfart) is the online home for paintings by surrealist painter L.E. Busby, Sr. a.k.a. “Snow Wolf”, who has done such

works as Arid Solitude (currently for sale), Oracles of Light, and Forest of Nightmares.

Visitors to the Snow Wolf Art site can explore paintings currently for sale,

paintings that have recently been sold, and request more details for commissioning a

painting. They can also learn about the history of surrealism and Snow Wolf’s strongest artistic influence, Salvador Dali, all while being led around by the “tour guide”.

Busby’s paintings show a more fantastic side of life, where the fine lines between fantasy and reality are thrown to the wind. There is also the occasional sense of irreverence for set politics and religious values adopted by most conservative Americans, undeniably apparent in Busby’s most recent work-in-progress, Crack Cocaine Renee, which will appear on the website for sale sometime in the next few months.
