Question by Walmartian: My husband has come to me with a problem. What should I do?
My husband recently told me he has been doing cocaine for the past 5 months and owes his guy about $ 150. This is a shock to me, as he as never had this sort of problem before. I knew he was depressed for the past few months and I couldn’t figure out why, but now I understand. He is willing to seek treatment for his addiction and I am glad of that, but he want to pay this guy off for my safety before he goes into rehab. I have dealt with this sort of thing with an ex boyfriend and have been able to smooth things over for him and his “guy” until he could get his paycheck. Should I try it with this man or make him do it himself? Should I pay it myself and make him go to rehab?
