my boyfriend has been in sober living since November and is doing very well. For some time now one paticular older man (60 year old) who lives in the house since December has been wasted everyday. Countless times me and the others have to pick him up off the floor, take him to the bathroom, his bedroom, he is always falling over and injuring himself. He consisdently asks others to go and buy him vodka.

I have no idea why this man has not been kicked out. My boyfriend is trying to get sober and this is extremly selfish of this guy. Anyway I was there 2 days ago when he was yet again wasted. This time the manager came up to talk with him about [yet again] going to rehab for 3 days then back to the house.

Before the manager could finish yelling at him.. he pulled out a 6 inch knife, bragged about how many people he killed in Vietnam, and threatned to kill him. 3 of us witnessed this and he was then told he is going to have to leave permanently

The manager of all the sober-living houses was called in, along with another guy. They all spoke with him and what I dont understand is that he is allowed to come back after 3 day rehab.

I am pissed to say the least as this is harming my boyfriends recovery. I am wondering if I reported what I saw he would be kicked out and thrown in jail like he should be ? Or perhaps if I just tell the manager I am going to report it unless he goes.. then they will kick him out ?
